I hope someone can give some great suggestions...I too have a room very similar as yours with the same dilemma. I will keep on eye on this post!!

Can the bed go on the wall opposite where it is now? That would give you a wall without a window on it to mount your television, then maybe the back corner with the windows can be used for the sitting area.

HI -- I don't believe TV's belong in bedrooms ,or bathrooms, or kitchens . But, if you have to have one then mount in on the wall( maybe on a swing arm bracket ) below that high window or maybe right on top (cover ) the window.If you put a blind on that window ,then match it to your drapes when you get them . The best place for the bed is where it is shown in the picture. maybe if it could be moved over a little to make room for a chair in either corner facing the TV. If the TV is hung on a swing arm , then the chair may sit where the one in the picture is now.

Center the bed under the short window, put the tv o the wall the bed is on, put the chair in the corner where the windows are with a lamp that is built in to a magazine rack or a floor lamp with a 3 way light behind the chair with some sort of small bookshelf or nightstand of end table type of storage on the far side of the chair.

Looks like your headboard will cover part of the high window if you move the bed. I'm of the majority opinion that tv's don't belong in the bedroom.

Bedrooms are for the "S" words, but if you're missing one of them I guess tv could substitute since it is full of one of the "S" words and makes me just want to zzzz (the other "S" word.) Try a tv sized to go under the window that is above the chest.

Well, she said this is not her furniture. So if you don't have a huge headboard you could put your bed under the small window then the tv on the wall where the bed is now. I think that would work best.

Since the room has many windows, I think you could cover the small window over the current dresser, then hang a flat screen tv over it. If you don't like to look at a tv when it is off, you could buy one of the 2-way mirrors that are a mirror when off and when the tv is on you can view it. You can frame the mirror/tv, so it looks like a framed mirror.

You could put your chair and ottoman in the corner where there are no windows - that way you can see the tv from the bed and from the chair.

This is the third post I found today on where to put a TV. They are really ruling our lives. I just rearranged my tiny cottage and finally gave a big TV away because it didn't fit anywhere. I still have a small one on the mantle and a bigger one in the bedroom. For your layout, it seems like on the dresser is the only place for you to watch from the bed. Do you already have one? Maybe you could get a small one that wouldn't take over your dresser.

a tv adds not only NO style but also has no room in a bedroom. Sorry but it would be a huge mistake.

I don't like this bedroom, look at the height of walls, too short, and the bedroom looks pretty small, even the bed's size doesn't suit the room
