#2 looks like "The K-MART Rose". It's a cerise red rose that was here when we moved in. Disease resistant, abundantly blooming, fragrant.

Would you have brought it to the spring trade last year in a 2 or 3 gal pot? I remember not knowing who had brought it last year. I just noticed mine has aphids on it. Is it more of a climber?

The first one has a very distinct leaf the way the stem goes through it. I am hoping someone will recognize it.

I would have brought it in a 2 gallon, probably and it is not a climber but kind of a large bush. Mine normally gets 6'x6' or so. It could also have been from Marcy. She was giving away roses too.

Your first picture looks to me like Japanese flowering quince. We have many seedlings (which look very similar) that the birds have planted from our bushes out front.

I have a small quince, I don't recall the leaves having that small one with the stem running through it the way this one does. I may have to go check it again.
