I don't know about rain, but it is awfully humid out there today. I think I shall have to retreat inside for the day!

It IS nice not having to spend time watering (since I have a manual system).

Don't turn off the faucet yet!!! I am still watering 3 days every week. Had a total of 3.80 inches of rain during past 4 months in 5 brief showers, none during the month of May. Only one shower produced an inch or more (1.25") of water.
I have renamed my garden as Death Valley Georgia.
Enjoy the rain, wish I could!

I'm in Gwinnett County; After 8 weeks without a drop it's rained almost every day or evening for at least 3 weeks.

I feel bad for folks who have not been as fortunate. I can see that the lakes between GA and SC are still W A Y low on water.

same here Alex. Thursday I said, well it's getting dry again. So it poured that night then Friday, the Saturday......

And now the sun is out and it's like a sauna!

I just had a fantastic storm roll through here. I haven't checked the exact total but its over an inch! By far the best storm total of the month for me. I was just lamenting earlier about how we never had heavy rain anymore, then within a few hours the bottom falls out! This was my 7th storm total of an inch or greater for 2007 through this date. I had 11 through July 29 last year!!
