Substitute for Miscanthus Morning Light

I have several miscanthus morning light's and love them except for the time they take to green up in the spring. I am looking for a grass to plant as a screen and would like something resemembling the morning light (cascading, at least 4'to 5' tall but no more than 8' tall), even if not variegated, but I would like for it to be a cool-season grass. Anyone know of such a grass hardy in zone 5?

Calamagrostis brachytricha. Not variegated, 4' to foliage, 5' to blooms. Cool season. Hardy to Z4.

Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Karl Foerster.' Not variegated, very erect. 4' to foliage, 5'+ to blooms. Cool season. Hardy to Z3.

Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Avalanche.' Variegated, very erect. 40" to foliage, 52" to blooms. Cool season. Hardy to Z3.

Carex pendula. Non-variegated. 4' to foliage, 5' to blooms. Cool season, Hardy to Z5.

Elymus cinereus. Non-variegated. 40" to foliage, 60" to plumes. Cool season. Hardy to Z3.

Those are the tallest cool season grasses I know.
