Could be Japanese Climbing Fern, Lygodium japonicum. Check the link below to see if that is it. Click on the thumbnail images for a larger photo.
It has been classified as an invasive plant, but I grow one and it has not been a problem. It dies back to the roots each winter.

Could also be cypress vine, although I would've expected it to bloom by now.

Wow thants for the quick reply! Yes it is Lygodium japonicum.
I wonder where it came from? I'll do some more research into it's invasive nature, I hate to let things grow if they are going to overtake the locals.
