Oh my...I'm losing my mind. Not a good feeling, let me tell ya. I responded to this thread, but somehow I got mixed up and posted on another thread. Great. I can only imagine the people over on the other thread reading my comments and looking at the pictures I posted, saying, "Huh?"

Georgia Blue veronica is a good idea because it is pretty drought tolerant (although I think in full sun, mine might be a gonner now.. :(

How about lycoris bulbs, sternberia, agapanthus blooms earlier in the summer, Colchicum, the very dwarf crinums (they are hardy outside of zone 9), rain lilies will do OK for you if they get a baking in the PM.
