Gorgeous kitchen!

Were concealing the hinges for the inset cabinetry a problem? I am being told that there would need to be a block of wood installed in the inner walls of the cabinet to secure the concealed hinge...and that it would be unsightly in my glass cabinets. Was this your experience or did you work around the concealed hinge issue somehow? I have stared at this kitchen for hours :). Thanks!

These are custom built cabinets and we always use European style hinges, here is a link to a similar product that can help you achieve this look. And no, there is no need for a block of wood.

What color are the cabinets on the island as well as the rest of the kitchen?
