It has rained here today, too, a couple of times and I hope we get more the next few days. Any little bit helps. Maybe the weather system is changing.

It did REALLY rain for a few minutes last night. It was awesome. I have to go see what was collected in my pail.

Supposedly we have a chance of rain every day this week. At least the yard is getting wet and it isn't hot and sunny, drying stuff out even more.

Yeah I'll be glad just to have some cloudy skies for the next few days.

Oh how I am loving this rain. It is good for my garden and my house. A good friend of mine does construction work for me free but only works on my home when the weather is bad (this way he does not short his paying customers). This week is the week to put insulation in the attic. Put that together with my mums getting water I am in hog heaven YES!

Up north of Gainesville, we've gotten about a third inch on our little hill over a few days. At least it's been slow enough to not run off, and we're grateful for every drop. As I was writing, one of the short little sprinkles came along so I went out and sat on the porch til it left again. Rain is so nice.

I actually have puddles in my back yard from the heavy downpour that just ended. What a blessing! Every plant and a bug out there (people included) is bursting with gratitude!

In Suwanee my 63 gal rain barrel was filled to the top in 10 mins. Guess I need a overflow one now

me too, we had a brief downpour,so I went out to empty the old garbage can I had my downspout empty into. I was able to fill up 8 5 gallon pails.
