Hi!

I live in Havertown, which is about 30 miles south (?)...the gourds look awesome! I am contemplating growing birdhouse gourds this year, just trying to figure out where to plant them.

Also thinking about Loofahs...does anyone in your garden club grow them as well?

I don't think anyone grew loofas but They grow pretty much the same as any of the other big gourds. I would imagine having them on a trellis or fence or something would work best. I grew the birdhouse gourds on my arbor and they seemed to love climbing. A friend grew hers on her chain link fence and they did great there as well.
