My Yard is a nightmare partially because of this drought and partially because of DH letting the backyard go. He promised to get it back to normal after I hired some teenagers to mow the front. Now I am going to have to hire them to bushwack my back.

It has been so hot that I have not been able to plant much. I did get in a lot of hostas and most of this years rose purchases before life went haywire again. I spent the rest of the summer running back and forth from Florida taking care of my Daddy. He got some strange infection in his toes.

My favorite rose this summer besides Charleston Graveyard who is always my upmost favorite would be Fortunes Double Yellow she grows like a weed. She was supposed to be Fortune's five color but after I brought her home and planted her I found out she was not FFC but FDY.
