Camellia plants don't look good

Hello! I transplanted by camellia to our new farm late last year. They had blooms this spring, but the leaves have spots on them, brown spots here and there and just don't look real healthy. Not sure if I need to just prune them back some or spray them. I haven't looked for bugs yet, but plan on doing so this week. I can post a picture to show what they look like. I can get that done this week. Any advise would be appreciated. I've never pruned them, but will learn how if I need to.

A pic would help you get suggestions about the spots. You can't spray for or against anything unless you know if and what you have, or are expecting something in particular.

We don't spray Camellias with anything but they do need to be trimmed because someone put them too close to the house 30 years ago. If shrubs fit where you put them, they don't need to be pruned, except very lightly and occasionally, to maintain form and overall shaping, or if you just like a formal, manicured look. Camellias are able to perform both ways and still bloom well.
