What is the upkeep on this type of sink? Is it hard to keep clean and to preserve the finish?

Hello, The sink mentioned on Bellacor is made Nantucket Sinks. Most of these sinks are Nickel plated. Checking with the manufacturer is best. We recommend cleaning it with a mild soap and rinsing with water. No chemical cleaners as most sinks are untreated. To maintain the original look of the sink, you could apply a fixture wax from Flitz.

So is it unreasonable to put these in a high traffic bathroom due to preservation and upkeep? Thinking of putting in powder room that would get a lot of use!

This is a reasonably priced undermount in hammered nickel from Home Depot. Our friends put this in their powder room and its gets tons of use. They have had it for two years. Comes in several shapes and sizes. We loved it so much we are ordering one. It does not patina.
