I posted this over at the Recipe Exchange Forum. But it occurs to me it really fits over here better.I've had this pinned to my wall for more than ten years, and still smile whenever I look at it.

To Preserve Children

1 large grassy field

Some pebbles

1 pinch of brook

2 or 3 smqall dogs

1/2 dozen children

Mix the children and dogs together well. Put them in the fild, stirring constantly. Pour the brook over the pebbles. Sprinkle the field with flowers under a deep blue sky. When brown, set in a bubble bath to cool
