The best way to find out is to experiment for yourself. 'One man's meat is another man's poison', as they say.

For myself, I think any of the lemon-y herbs are quite nice as tea, and mint goes with a lot of things. Ginger and lemon for an upset tummy.

A great way to introduce yourself to herbal teas is to buy premade teas. That way you are safer than mixing your own and you get to try out a lot of different flavors and find what you like or don't like. There are even sampler boxes of herbal teas that include a couple tea bags of each variety.

I have so many favorites it is hard to say what I like best but I find that the lemon-flavored herbs are generally friendly and well-liked by people who are new to or infrequent herbal tea drinkers.
