Gifting Cilantro

The other day my co-worker complained to me that her cilantro did not re-seed itself last year. I have the opposite problem as her. My cilantro re-seeded itself all over my tiny herb garden. I still need to put my basil in so some of the cilantro has to go.

I'd like to give my co-worker some of my re-seeded cilantro, but I am not sure when the best time to dig it out of the ground is. Right now my tallest cilantro is 1 to 1.5 cm at best. How tall should the plants be before I dig them out of the ground and gift them?
