I had no idea there was wild thyme growing in Central Texas. The other day I was cleaning up my fenceline when I spotted a familiar looking plant. When I first crushed the leaves I thought maybe it was oregano but when I compared it to my garden thyme the smell was the same. I will never buy/plant thyme again! :)
