I live in SW Florida and am having a problem with my beloved outdoor, in the ground hibiscus and don't know where to turn.

Some of the branches have died and there appears to be something boring holes in the wood. I did see some aphids and mealy bugs which I sprayed with neem oil, but I am concerned about the boring. I am enclosing a picture of one of the dead branches.

Can you point me in a direction? I would hate to lose this plant.
