I read a couple of older threads but still am not sure on what a friend gave DH. I have a pot (wilting, just pulled up and not really potted) of what friend thinks is French tarragon but I have my doubts. It's 3ft tall, no flowers, green (not gray-green) spiky leaves with slight anise flavor and *maybe* a little tingle on my tongue (that does seem to linger in back of the throat but not "numbing" strong sensation or intense flavor.

French, Russian, or Mexican? I don't know if I dare plant it if it's Russian - I already have oregano 1ft tall in cinderblocks and have some 2ft tall mint from my cousin I want to plant (in pots?) I don't need another "weed"
