Not something that I would ever have purchased. A chile-head friend sent me one. I like to add finely chopped raw onion and celery to my burritos just before rolling and freezing them.

Darn thing does a great job! I sliced habanero peppers in half and put them skin side down on the grid and then half an onion on top. Gave it a good whack and perfect little cubes of pepper and onion. Did the same with celery.

No idea how long it will stay sharp or before I hit it too hard and break, but sure love it now.

Got a little carried away. Was making red cabbage kraut/hot dog burritos and when finished still had a good pint left of diced pepper/onion celery. Will have to think of some way to use it soon.
