Hi! I am new to the gardening scene. I have planted my own cucumbers, and planted some mammoth dill as well, in order to make my own pickles. I have searched and searched and have not been able to get a clear answer as to how and when to harvest the dill. My mammoth dill plants are currently very small. Yet there are bright green leaves that I can tell is the "dill weed" similar to what I have seen packaged in stores. There are also darker colored green sprouts (that look nothing like the brighter green) that I do not know if i harvest these as well, or just snip the brighter green colored part of the plant. My plants seem to be nowhere near the flowering stage. And I just don't have a clue to what I am doing. Anyone who can help me in this matter, I would be greatly appreciative! Thanks!
