I'm sure there will be many suggestions, but you need to let those pickles sit on the shelf for at least six weeks. The flavors will mellow.

Agree with Carol on the 6 week wait. The jar you opened can be kept in the fridge for a couple of weeks and then try them again and you'll see the difference.

Can be used in both lettuce and potato salad and are also great sliced on a hamburger off the grill.

If they are strong tasting try adding a bit of sugar to offset the tartness.

I agree! Wait awhile! Put the date on the lids so you know when to open!

And if you still need ideas.......

Add pickles to tuna or chicken salad for sandwiches.
Use to make homemade Tartar Sauce (mayo, pickle, lemon juice, garlic & onion powders).
Potato salad.
Macaroni Salad.
Tuna Mac salad (tuna, macaroni noodles, mayo, chopped dills, celery, onion, S&P).

Grind up for relish.
Use relish in salad dressings.
Spread a little relish over fish and sprinkle with lemon pepper before baking.
