cilantro help

ok, i just need some more info here. i just started growing cilantro and every new leaf is turning brown at the tips. im assuming it's because i think im overwatering it, or that it isnt supposed to be in a pot like mine because of the taproot. if there's anything i can do, please let me know thanks.

Overwatering is a huge problem - people kill their plants with kindness. Usually one of the signs of overwatering is yellowing or dying leaves.

By the way, have you had very hot temperatures like we did this week? Is it an outdoors plant that got "baked"?

Thank you so much! what you described with the leaves is exactly what is happening! and yes we did get very hot temps. but if i am overwatering, exactly how often should i water it?
