Always be very careful when using common names. Angelica (Angelica archangelica) is also known as masterwort, but I've found this for you,at the link.

Yes, Daisy, Leonurus Cardiaca is the plant I was seeking, with no success. I wanted to by one locally but guess I'll have to order it. I didn't intend to use the Masterwort (Astantia Major Roma) in it's place, I just found it that day and purchased it. Now that I own it, I'd like to find out more about it!

You might need to visit a specialist herb nursery, because motherwort is a notorious weed which might be banned for sale in your area. Check with your local agricultural authority for a list of prohibited plants/noxious weeds.

Nope! Motherwort is not on the list for Michigan (I just this minute checked!) That's a good thing, since I ordered three plants from Richter's this morning!! Most of the plants they had listed grow like crazy around here... I think they are a bit late in banning them! I was hoping maybe I'd find some Motherwort growning wild (We have alot of State land nearby) but had no luck. Now that I've paid $$ for it I'll probably find it in the next field I tramp through.

Astrantia major is a great decorative perennial and belongs in the flower bed. Blooms over a very long period and flowers hold since they are mostly bracts. Also good for drying.
