You might look for aphids,I'm having that problem. Just a thought.

A growing plant needs plenty of room and doubly true for a nice healthy parsley plant. Roots go deep much deeper then an 8 inch pot.If you can plant it in the ground with no restrictions then I'm sure it will show you its appreciation. :O) In short the poor plant is dying :O(

Wow! Thanks to both elvinchic323 and beechnut. I bought a BUNCH of herbs a few weeks ago and the one I am having the most problems with is the parsley. That really surprised me . . . I thought parsley would be the easier/low care plant. Anyway, I will also be looking for a bigger pot. They came in tiny pots and I transplanted to a 6", but obviously I need something even larger! Thanks for the advice.

I am in Zone 7.

My flat leaf parsley seeds were planted May 26th, 2007 in a terra cotta windowbox. They sprang up fine after a few weeks, but are now dying little by little. They have turned brown and are falling over.

Am I overwatering? I water when the soil gets parched, about twice a day. I often take them outside on a western-facing balcony to soak up the sun (they are usually in an eastern-facing windowsill). Since I live in a townhouse, western and eastern windows are my only choice.

My basil is doing so great! What's happening???

I have a different problem. I have an established bed full of mint and parsley. This spring, mint and parsley curled down into a funny shape in most part of the bed. All leaves are hanging down and stems are curling down out of shape. Does anyone know what is happening?
