Freezing Kale into Cubes

Last year I ground up cucumbers in my food processor and then froze the the mush in ice cube trays. When making smoothies I would then throw a few of the cucumber cubes into the blender instead of using plain ice or frozen fruit. Worked great!

So I'm thinking of doing this exact thing with kale. Anyone ever try this?
