About a month ago I purchased an herb kit for my sun filled balcony (tin tub, soil and a selection of herbs). The herbs that I chose were: Rosemary, Thyme, Curly Parsley, Flat Parsley, Chives, Mint. I keep seeing the mint get bigger and I am starting to worry if I should not have had the mint in the same container or not surrounded it by the chives and thyme. The chives seem to be getting crowded out by all the other taller herbs. Is there anything I can do now? Should I just leave it as is? Or try to remove and replant the mint? Or even the chives and thyme? Please advice. This is my first herb garden and I had no idea that mint should not be planted next to other plants because its so invasive.
