I have a lavendar in a 14" plastic pot. Outside, in a very protected space. My plan was to surround it with leaves and see if it would survive the winter.

Well I have not yet got around to it. We have had temps below freezing here, but nothing like a hard freeze.

I'm wondering if it is still worth while try to over-winter it outside, or if it is probably dead.

I don't know the variety, which obviously makes a difference. I know it is an annual.
