Cut back on the water. You want some water retained in your soil - obviously it should not be "bone dry," but probably not what I would call "damp" in between waterings. I suspect fewer plants have died from the lack of water than from over watering. Search this forum for "over watering" and I think you'll see what I mean. Try letting the soil dry some in between waterings.

By the way, too much or too little water can cause problems for the plant in regards to absorbing and retaining the minerals and nutrients they need.

I'm a newbie at growing herbs so I haven't a clue what is wrong. Sure hope you can save those beautiful herbs. Would too much fertilizer make them do that? How much fertilizer does basil need?

I am not overwatering them.. the soil remains moist, not
wet and it's well drained.

I do not know how much fertilizer they need, I am growing
this stuff for the first time myself.

I added a pinch of epsom salt to my last watering, maybe
that'll give it some trace elements needed. We'll see
if the problem worsesn!
