I've had good luck in the past with the plants from Gilberties in Westport, CT. They do a lot of designing with their herb plants, so maybe they can help you.

Thank you! It looks like they supply to the garden shop I have been talking to. I'll make sure to ask the owner if she called them when I talk to her.

Try Possum Creek Herbs in Soddy Daisy, TN. They mail order, are very reasonable and if you tell Michele and Pat what you have in mind, I'm sure they can help.

Try Logees, a wonderful supplier of greenhouse plants in Connecticut; Tripple Brook Farm, a specialty nursery in western Massachusetts; and Peconic River Herb Farm on Long Island, New York. Logees and Tripple Brook Farm both do mail order as well as in-person sales, and all three are well worth a visit.

If you let them know now what you want, they may be able to help. They'll also probably have some great ideas for herbs and other plants they can supply for your centerpieces.

You might also be interested in The Gardens at Cheshire, which can supply rental plants for the hall and reception. They don't sell plants as far as I know, but may be able to put you in touch with growers that do; Cheshire, Connecticut, is a big bedding-plant town.
