That looks like 2 or 2 1/2"... but when doing this, be careful that the dishwasher will lower enough to accommodate the thicker countertop so that the cabinets and dishwasher still line up and you don't end up with tops that are too tall (36" is standard, but you can get away with 37"..depends on how tall you are!).
