I'm sure this topic has been discussed but I couldn't turn it up in my searches. I'm using the Claussen pickle recipe and am 7 days into the process.

I had one incident of mold on the surface of the brine which I removed and it has not returned.

Now, the pickles have a white film on them. I've read about white film on the surface of the brine, but not on the pickles themselves.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
