Double Chunky Basil Pasta Sauce?

I'm looking ahead to hopefully canning some tomato sauces in a couple of weeks. Ellie Topp's recipe for Chunky Basil Pasta Sauce has gotten good reviews here. The recipe states it will make 8 cups and can be canned in either pints or quarts.
Can this recipe be doubled?
