Boy, I sure wish my pond was set up and ready for koi! I'd jump right on this offer. Hopefully, your friend will find happy homes for her fishies! Thanks for helping her and making the offer to us.

Marcia

How large does a pond need to be to have, let's say~~~ one koi?
Kat

Kat,

I don't know how much room koi need...I have goldfish in my pond and, of course, goldies need very little room. I'll ask Terri and let you know.

Carol

Thanks Carol, you and your friend are very generous!
Kat

Kat,

The larger the pond, the larger the koi will grow. You can keep them in something as small as an aquarium, but they will stay small. It's up to you!!

Carol

Then I would love one or two very small koi! I have a 55gal(I think) molded pond, well, actually two of them. Only problem is, I won;t be coming to central FL until October.
Kat

Kat,

Not a problem. Terri is going to drain her pond sometime in October, which is when she was going to invite everyone to go fishin'. I don't remember if we have you on the list. Email me at: thepondprincess@bellsouth.net and I'll forward your email to Terri.
