So gorgeous, especially in spring.

Oh, yes what a beautiful plant. June is one of my all time favorites. Here, where our summers are cool she retains the blue bloom all season. Here is a photo from today of June and her cousin Remember Me.

    Beautiful hosta!!!

There's no chance of more frost in your area is there? lol

I am hoping that those of mine that have eyes 4 inches tall will not get bit if we get more cold weather.

I love June in the spring, it's so vibrant, but as the season progresses she loses some of her vibrancy. I moved her in September last year to an area where she'll receive more sun, so maybe the yellow will stay bright a little longer. I bought her two years ago, two eyes; this year I see six. Yay, increase! And Guacamole, holy cow, one eye in 2007, 16 eyes this year. That one is a fast grower!

Ya know, I like her when she's "less vibrant". She's a unique sagey color and I love that!

My Junes have never been yellow. The photo I postsed above has Remember Me on the left and June on the right. If you like the brighter yellow, then Remember Me will fill the bill and it looks good all year (for me at least).

I think it has been discussed more than once that there is more than one "June" out there, and it is not only from more/less sunlight. Some tc's were starting out more yellow, but they still sold them as June.

All the more reason to get one of each.

You're right. I just looked at my photos of June from last year. She isn't yellow like the one on the left, but a bit more yellowish than the one on the right, at least soon after she's opened up. The second picture of June I have was taken in late June, and looks exactly like the one in the photo. Anyway...June is a lovely hosta, and I'm mistaken, mine has eight eyes popping out this year, not six. Yay!

Boy, I DO like the chameleon Hosta we call 'June'. Here are 2 pictures from last year that show the SAME plant, just different sides of it, with the lighter coloured leaves seeing a lot more direct sun. The smaller leaves in the 2nd picture are from another, potted 'June' that saw essentially full sun, just to illustrate the influence of sunlight exposure on this variety. The much wider center variegation of the potted one is typical of a juvenile 'June'.

Pieter- That is the bluest June I have ever seen. I love it! Could I use that as a wallpaper for my desktop? Please?
