tapping maples

It's that time of year again and I was just out hanging up taps. Got three and a half holes bored before the portable electric drill ran out of steam so I'm waiting for the battery to recharge. Usually tap 18 trees so i've got a way to go.

But it sure is running!

do you make your own maple syrup? i always wanted to go on one of those tours of a maple syrup maker, but for some reason never get around to it....

how'd it turn out?
