The best way to figure it out is to move it and see what it looks like. The screen is lovely. It looks like you have too much furniture in the room. Try moving most of it out and start with the table and chairs. Move them until you are satisfied. Then bring back the other pieces. Sometimes less is more.

I am getting rid of the grandfather clock. Should I hang my artwork higher or lower in this room with 12 ft ceilings?

Getting rid of the grandfather clock is a good start. I'd keep the table and chairs and the mirrored buffet. Center the buffet on the wall. Please remove all that is on the buffet except for the lamps and 1 additional piece. I would change the lamp shades to plain cream shades. You may hang a large piece of art over the buffet. If you do not have a large piece of art, please photograph what you have and we'll tell you how to hang it.

If there is space on the wall on the other side of the table for the folding screen, then center it on that wall. You should now have a beautiful dining room! Congratulations!

Rug, good; chairs, good; rug, good; screen, good. Window treatment, not good; chandelier, not good. Remove everything that is not good. Position screen in the middle of the wall and open it up more.

The pair of framed medallions (?) can go over the buffet, which by the way, is looking great now. Place the bottom of them 3" above the box, with 2" of space between them. Remove the flowers from the pot in the corner. Okay to leave the long leaves.
