Cardinal Climber ceramic pot photos

Finally, I figured out how to post photos. It took forever! I tried to do it through Yahoo Photos and couldn't figure out how. Then photobucket shut me out because I had Caps Lock on and it rejected my password! I had to create a new user ID and reload the photos!

I want to thank Bob "bobky z6ky" for posting instructions. I couldn't have figured it out without him.

These photos are of a ceramic pot I made in pottery class. I posted earlier about it, and someone asked for pictures. The bottom is slanted so that it stands upright on our sloped driveway. There is a notch that allows it to fit into the corner of the house. Inside the pot are hooked lumps of clay that the wire mesh trellis is anchored to. The mesh is bent at a 90 degree angle and wraps around the front and side of the house. The pot contains 2 Cardinal Climbers, and a Cypress vine. They've got a lot of growing to do before they flower. I'm hoping they'll do well enough to liven up a drab corner, and attract the little hummers, too!

It is Bob that needs the thanking! All I did was post some pictures.

Thanks, also for the directions on thumbnail images. I skimmed them, and I think it's probably doable, but it's late, and I just don't have time to fool around with it right now. Now that I hear there's a better way, I feel a little guilty about posting so many pictures. On the other hand, I have dial up, and they did seem to come up pretty quickly. Also, I wanted to show the pot from as many angles as possible. I just hope no one was too inconvenienced.

Before I head off to bed, let me make sure I have this straight. If I had known how to do clickable thumbnails, the images would have opened almost instantaneously with dial up? If someone wanted to see them larger they would just click on them, right? I've seen this on websites, and it's very handy, especially for those of us with slow dial up.

I'll definitely try to figure out your tutorial and do it when applicable. It will be especially useful for series of images.

Hi Kristin,

You did a very good job of keeping the image file sizes small,so it doesn't take too long to load,even for the dial-up user. If you had posted thumbnails,the images would have appeared almost instantly. Then, you just click on the thumbnail to get the larger image to appear;click on my thumbnail above to see the MUCH larger image.
