Wow, Steve, that's ridiculous. I fill my one 8 oz feeder with 3 oz of nectar and I still have to dump most of it out after three days. I'd kill for a tiny fraction of your action. It must be a real treat to watch.

Boy am I jealous since it seems you're in the lead for now, anyway! LOL! I've picked up a few more in the last 2 or 3 days, but I'm still putting just 3/4 cup in each feeder...I did add a 5th feeder, but it probably wasn't necessary at this point.

Hawkeye-- Yes it is a treat , I have a 6ft slider window at my back porch and I keep the blinds open and even though I may be moving around in the kitchen doesnt deter them much . Plus a have my vine support out there and I will see half a dozen hummers just perched on the top wire of it when feeding is most intense. Yet in my front yard I have few hummers but mostly musical chairs is being played in that area.

Donna --- Yes, I must confess I went all the way down to your place with a feeder and lured some all the way back to indy, LoL. Im going to need to add that third 50oz feeder out back just to slow them down a bit. It seems they are a couple of weeks early to be ganging up on me like they are this year. Im sure from what you have said you will surpass me in hummers eventually, but Im getting my good share and the sugar bill accelerating. I will be putting another vid up soon on their next big feeding frenzy.

So I wonder Steve--are you now getting fledglings? Is that why your numbers are up?

Yes, vicki, I was getting fledglings before, Im just getting more now.

ctnchpr--- Great video, I know you always get tons of hummers from now thru migration. Sounds like quite a roar from their mass. Thanks for sharing.
