I haven't got any experience with brussels sprouts so I don't know if they would bounce back. If they are still frozen then I would pick them and put them in the freezer. No reason to let them thaw out and risk losing your crop.

I agree with Rodney. Either freeze them (they need to be blanched first) or just eat them up in the next few days.

Thawing isn't going to be any different than buying frozen ones and thawing those except the blanching.

Brussels Sprouts are very tough. They will thaw on the stem without harm and taste far better after a freeze than before. In my climate they are eaten fresh throughout the winter. Maybe it would be helpful to ask this question over on the Vegetable Forum to get advice from experienced gardeners from your zone.

Yes, they should be fine to pick and eat and will hold on the plant for quite awhile. It takes temps lower than the low 20s to do them in although prolonged low 20s can dry them out some. I try to wait til temps return to above freezing to pick mine, but I'm not sure that is necessary. We picked yesterday after having temps in the teens a few times recently. The sprouts were mild and sweet, and we loved eating all homegrown veggies (also fresh carrots and stored potatoes) with our turkey leftovers!

Thanks! I picked some more yesterday after the thaw & both the frozen ones & thawed ones were great roasted. I will leave the rest out on the plant till I'm ready to eat them.
