Not allowed on the sight, but I did notice lots of males this morning here in s. Ark.

Don't know why it is not allowed - if you do a search under migration maps, you will see that there are postings each year as far back as 2007. The posts show up for most spring and fall migrations for hummers and other birds. There are actually two different maps sites that people here use.

The site isn't selling anything and you don't have to join to use it - they conduct research and educational activites for children in schools. Never has been problem for others to see it here - usually gets lots of responses.

I'm not personally involved - just interested in sending in my sightings and finding out where the hummers are in their migration.

I got into it the other day to report my monarch sightings so I don't know why you can't get in,try again

Activity is still quite strong here but most of the males have moved on. I still see some males but not near as many.

I took the first responders post to mean that I shouldn't be suggesting people go there as though it was advertising on this forum. Perhaps I misunderstood. I have been on the site within the last couple of days so I don't know what the problem would be.

Sorry that I didn't explain myself. I just meant that I typed in exactly what you put up and got "no such site". I did eventially get to the site, but saw no southward migration map.

Okay - try this Google Journey North then look for the one that says Fall Migrationa and lists the dates on Fridays when the maps will be updated. For me it was the third site down.

Click on it and it will bring up the home page. Click on the file maps at the top and that will take you to the page that has all the different Journey North maps. Look for either the Hummingbird map for all kinds of hummers or the one next to it for First Males. You will also see an option on the map at the bottom where you can go to sightings and describe what you have seen in your yard.
