Hydrangea Danger

Hello. I planted an Endless Summer hydrangea about a week ago. We live in zone 4 and have recently had WAY too much rain. The plant has developed black along the sawtooth edges of the leaves and there is some discoloration. I can not tell if this is fungus, iron deficiency, or too much sun. It doesn't look like any photos of diseases or disorders that I have seen. I mercilessly executed a hydrangea last year and I am determined to keep this one alive. I have applied a fungicide to the plant and it appears to be better. I have not applied fertilizer of any kind. Any help with a diagnosis will be appreciated by the plant and me. Thanks
