Gjtats, I keep several potted hydrangeas over in a cold room in which the temp is maintained at 40F ... these plants will require very few watering throughout the winter, keep them moist, but not wet. Bring them outside when danger of hard frost is over, though place under cover if frost threatens. Begin feeding when new growth has flushed out.
