Hi all, (I put a picture of the TV stand because my floorplan photo is SO FAINT it doesn't look like I have a photo there at all- but it IS there, I'm trying to figure out how to darken it)

I am looking for furniture ideas. This room layout PLAIN STINKS! But, we can't change it. So, I think we have surrendered to it's oddness and decided the only option is to put the TV in front of the windows. We have the Kavari 72" media stand with a 60" LED TV. Our original thought was to put an L shaped sectional on the NE corner of the room and center the TV on the Western wall. This is obnoxious because then we have to angle the TV towards the NE corner and it just looks weird.

So, we are back to the drawing board. We are READY (YAY) to buy some furniture. Right now we have a 60" TV, 72" TV Stand, 65" buffet (craigslist find, planning to spray it and put it?), and a leather recliner I MIGHT be returning to Costco (my husband loves it, and it's been great as the ONLY seat in the whole room, but I don't think it will fit into the whole plan?).

My thoughts now are this: center the TV under the North windows. Have curtains made and installed on both ends that would/could be pulled to cover the whole wall behind the TV (might feel like a theater?), put an L-shaped sectional along the West wall and extend towards the east side (not all the way). Coffee table in front of sectional, or ottoman? Buffet sits behind the couch? Club chair (or old man recliner) between the East door and TV space? Small game table in SE corner of the room (there is already a can light perfect for a little game table in the SE corner of the room, might be fun to hang a pendant?)?

Any suggestions? Ideas? Alternatives? Feel free to RIP my ideas apart- I have lived with an empty room for 7 months because I can't commit.
