First we need to know what type(s) of irises you're growing - Louisiana, bearded, something else? If you're growing beardeds, you can find a list of potential causes and remedies for non-bloom in the FAQs (link at top of forum page).

I have done all the FAQ's and the only thing that I have not done is feed the Iris's.
The property we bought was a dense forest for 50 years and the yearly leaf falling and dead wood has made a mulch on the ground about 15 inches deep, seems to be very rich soil, since I haven't fertilized anything I've planted.
The Roses and the Iriss it seems are not as happy because the Roses don't flower much and the Iriss don't flower at all.
I'm not trying to win any award for my flowers, I just was trying to add healthy color to the dense forest around us now.
I cut in the driveway and cleared about two acres in the center for the house and planted everything in different location to see which plants liked that location best, was my plan. Some plants I have are now 7 feet tall and the Iris's are around 5', but I've seen other Iris plantings that the leaves are two feet tall and full of Iris blooms.
Mine are 5' with no blooms.
They get about 7 hours of full sun each day. Other flowering plants I have are full of blooms, short and tall. I'm begining to think the Iris does not like our place.

Have a soil test run on your soil. That will tell you the soil pH and N-P-K levels in the soil. Excessive leaf growth with no flowers is indicative of too high a nitrogen content for bearded irises, but a soil test will confirm whether or not that is your problem. A soil test will also tell you if your soil is too acidic or too alkaline for whatever type of iris(es) you're growing.

Most beardless irises like a nitrogen-rich soil, so if you are currently growing bearded irises, and if your soil has a high nitrogen content, you might have better success growing the beardless types, instead.
