I have a beautiful medium brown leather chesterfield sofa, one leather chair& another fabric chair and ottoman. The room has Ralph Lauren red plaid pillows, red/tan houndstooth curtains and skirted table. Chair ottoman in a red/ gold tapestry. Love the red brown warm cozy look but had it many years and want to update. Have 2 kids and 2dogs that love to gather here. Tan carpet on floor. Very small dining room open to this room. Has 3/4's of walls in a recessed white panels and top of walls is a chocolate brown. The ceiling has a brown wood coffered ceiling painted white in between beams. Want all fabrics to be soft and textural - total comfort. Thought maybe a warm orange or copper colored would look good with browns? What other colors?Any ideas? I've been stumped. My house is a cape cod style with lots of white painted wood throughout. Dark hardwood floors in the other rooms.
