Progress of Apios Americana

I was wondering how much success those of you growing Apios Americana are having so far this year.

I'd love to share some photos, except that my plants are a tangled mass growing up the remnants of my snap peas so it's really hard to make out anything in the photos that I took. They aren't worth posting at this stage.

I started with two roughly 10" X 6" X 4" tubers. I forgot to measure before I planted them but that's around the right size. I also planted about two dozen other varying sized tubers all into one big 25 gallon pot. The resulting mass of vines that sprang forth actually began to create trunks of sorts and they wound around each other. It's quite interesting and gives them more stability at the base while they search for something to grab. I swear sometimes the vines will grow 6 inches in a single day (the ones from the large tubers anyways). Other days they don't seem to grow at all.

Hopefully I'll have some decent photos later on in the year but I was hoping some of you could share some photos.
