Most of my orientals peaked at about mid-July, although I had Black Beauties that were about half-way through bloom on July 26th (took a picture dated then - that's why I know). I don't have any of the species things that bloom after the orientals, except BB, which is sometimes listed with them and sometimes not. Anyway I was surprised too when everything was done so early. I usually have some that bloom at least into the beginning of August. All my daylilies (which I track) started blooming a week to 10 days early this year - so I think you are right about the hardy lilies also being early. Funny thing is my Sedum Autumn Joy is really late this season, they still look like brocolli.
