LKZ, I did check under the leaves and didn't notice anything, but when I used a microscope I saw something that looks like a dermatophyte or something. (Well, it didn't look exactly like Digger except for the beady eyes.) I wonder if soap will work or do I need to nail the infection from the inside with a systemic?

Hoe, after seeing these microscopic critters on my unlucky boo I cannot recommend sticking these sticks up anyone's nose, especially little kids. It's too risky. I'm beginning to believe that THE evil-doers are behind this too. For all I know these parasites or whatever they are were cooked up in a some cave lab somewhere. This all makes me almost want to throw out my LB but I just can't bear to do it. :(

Give your LB some Itraconazole. It should be taken with a full meal. It that doesn't work, give it some chicken poop, or manure tea make from chicken manure.

Other Lucky Boo Pests:
Mothballs can keep luckyboo fleas in check. If the plant has tapeworms, you can buy a box of rice krispies and mix it with marshmallows. Layer the mix on the stalk and the worms will die from suffocation. But if you have any relatives coming over that might try and get a free snack, wait until they are gone until you apply the rice krispy treats.

I guess some dilute plant food added to the water would be worth a shot.
