Hi all,

Last year I bought a bunch of lilium rubrum bulbs and they came up- eh- okay, I guess, in my mom's garden. I would like to replace the gift with something that does better in hot inland Southern California. How about one of the Asiatic cultivars Iowa Rose, Euridice, Eros, or Ariadne? Do you think any of those would thrive in SoCal? We do grow dark red, white, and yellow asiatics well here, but I have not tried the recurved ones.
