Wow! What a difference in price for the same tree. I purchased mine at The Maple Farm, Decatur, Georgia for $65 - 3 gallon http://www.japanesemaplesandconifers.com/ The tree I selected is about 42 inches tall. Fireglow is very difficult to find in the Atlanta area. I was surprised to learn that The Maple Farm has (or claims to have) the largest selection of JM's in the southeast.

Just last week I was in Montgomery, Alabama (2hr drive) and only two reatailers had it...but for $175 - 3 gallon. Why such a huge difference in price?

...there was no noticable difference in height, graft quality, diameter...or anything else that i coud tell other than price.
